Tourism Marketer Gets New Board

The Orange County Visitors Association named its new board for the 2017-18 term. The group markets Orange County for tourism and business travel.

The new board includes Chairman Jay Burress, president and chief executive of Visit Anaheim; Vice Chair Shaun Robinson, general manager of Hilton Anaheim; and Secretary Paulette Lombardi-Fries, president of Travel Costa Mesa.

Visit Huntington Beach President and Chief Executive Kelly Miller is the group’s immediate past chairman and now heads its advocacy committee.

OCVA also created an honorary director emeritus board position in memory of Werner Escher, who died in January. He led South Coast Plaza’s international tourism marketing efforts for several decades.
