Skyworks Solutions CEO Griffin Adds Chairman Role

Irvine-based chipmaker Skyworks Solutions Inc. said company Chief Executive Liam Griffin has been appointed board chairman, succeeding David Aldrich, who has retired.

Griffin will continue to serve as president and CEO of Skyworks, the company said in a statement today.

The board’s lead independent director, Christine King, will also continue to serve in her current role.
