Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp., Orange County’s No. 21 employer with more than 3,800 area workers at its trio of area hospitals and other facilities (see list, page 19), has a new top regional executive.
The $3.1 billion-valued firm (NYSE: THC) recently appointed Bryan Rogers to the chief executive position for its Southern California division.
The division includes the Fountain Valley Regional Hospital & Medical Center, OC’s No. 8 hospital last year with about $510 million in revenue for the 12 months ended Sept. 30, 2018; Los Alamitos Center, No. 11 with $241.5 million; and Placentia-Linda Hospital (No. 17, $105 million).
The division also includes a number of urgent care centers, imaging center, and other facilities in the county.
Rogers succeeds Michele Finney, who will now oversee the hospitals within Tenet’s Desert Care Network. Along with OC, he’ll also oversee a hospital in Los Angeles.
Rogers comes to Tenet after two decades with Hospital Corporation of America, where he most recently served as the Far West division president.
