TECHNOLOGY
Aliso Viejo-based QLogic Corp. was up 4% to $12.58 and a $1 billion market cap on above-average volume. The networking products maker said it would repurchase $125 million in stock.
Irvine-based Netlist Inc. was up 28% to $1.10 and a $55 million market cap on high volume ad and in a second day of share price increases after it announced a development and license agreement with Samsung and an investment from an affiliate of the electronics maker. Shares in the memory subsystem computer memory products maker had traded at three times its average volume by midday and risen 67% for the past three trading sessions.
