The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond was up 1% to 2.15%.
The price of gold was up 0.6% to $1,131.
HEALTHCARE
Newport Beach-based Alliance HealthcareServices Inc. was down 6.5% to $10.13 and a $107 million market cap on double the company’s share volume. Shares have fallen some 40% since last week when the diagnostic and radiation clinic operator agreed last week to sell 51.5% of the company for $18.50 a share or about $103 million.
