HEALTHCARE
Mission Viejo-based Ensign Group Inc. was up 1.8% to $35.02 and a market cap of $784.8 million. It owns and operates healthcare facilities and said it would buy two healthcare providers and nine facilities in San Diego.
TECHNOLOGY
Irvine-based storage equipment maker Netlist Inc. was down 24% to 77 cents for a market cap of $31.9 million. It said two directors resigned from its board, attributing that to disagreement over company strategy and financing plans.
