The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond fell 2.09% to 2.48%.
The price of gold was up 0.39% to $1,222.90.
HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Endologix Inc. was down 21.8% to $10.38 and a market capitalization of $695 million on revised full-year earnings per share and revenue guidance.
The company said it would lose an adjusted 37 cents to 43 cents per share this year, instead of its previous guidance of a loss of 27 cents to 33 cents per share. It also revised full year revenue down, saying it would bring in $145 million to $148 million, not $148 million to $152 million.
The company makes products to treat aortic disorders.
Aliso Viejo-based drug maker Avanir Pharmaceuticals Inc. was up 1.5% to $11.78 and a market cap of $2 billion. The company realized gross proceeds of $230.2 million on its offering of common stock—15% more than projected. The company said it would use proceeds to fund clinical trials, pay debt and/or make an acquisition.
Mission Viejo-based Ensign Group Inc. was up 1.8% to $35.10 and a market cap of 786.85 million. The owner of medical care properties bought a 135-unit assisted living in Tucson, Ariz.
