The S&P 500 fell 0.5% to 2,976.07.
The Dow Jones Industrial declined 0.4% to 26,753.66.
Nasdaq was flat at 8,171.05. Crude oil fell 6.4%to $54.83.
The price of gold was up 0.3% to $1,442.
The current yield on 10-Year US Treasury Bond fell 5.5% to 1.91%.
HEALTHCARE
STAAR Surgical Company (Nasdaq: STAA) jumped 19% to $34.98 and a $1.5 billion market cap. The company yesterday reported second quarter adjusted profit of 14 cents a share, topping the 10 cent average estimate of analysts.
RETAIL
Boot Barn Holdings Inc. (NYSE: BOOT) soared 15% to $35.81 and a $1 billion market cap. The company reported first quarter adjusted profit of 32 cents, topping the Zacks consensus estimate of 21 cents.
