The yield on a 10-year Treasury bond rose 0.1% to 2.9%.
The price of gold was rose by 0.2% to $1,201.
RETAIL
Tilly’s Inc. (NYSE: TLYS) in Irvine was down 14% to $21.55 and a $632 million market cap. Shares in the youth fashion retailer had leapt 50% in the last week following a well-received quarterly report and a couple analyst upgrades. Tilly’s yesterday said some shareholders, including chain cofounders Hezy Shaked and Tilly Levine, plan to sell 8.1 million common shares and possibly an extra 1.2 million more; the company won’t receive any funds from the offering.
RESTAURANTS
Habit Restaurants Inc. (Nasdaq: HABT) in Irvine was up 5.4% to $17.55 and a $457 million market cap. Shares in the fast casual burger chain are up 70% in the last six weeks.
