HEALTHCARE
Irvine-based Edwards Lifesciences Corp. was down 5% to $84.59 and an $18 billion market cap on above-average trading volume. The heart valve maker’s competitor Medtronic Plc. in Dublin, Ireland missed revenue forecasts in its most recent quarter.
Costa Mesa-based Nemus Bioscience Inc. was down 18% to 45 cents and a $9.4 million market cap. Shares in the company that’s developing cannabis-based pharmaceutical therapies have fallen in the last two trading sessions.
MANUFACTURING
Other local companies in the cannabis industry are also down in a second day of high-volume trading.
Newport Beach-based Terra Tech Corp. was down 19% to 26 cents and a $133 million market cap. Santa Ana-based Kush Bottles Inc. was down about 14% to $2.11 and a $103 million market cap. Westminster-based GreenGro Technologies Inc. was down 9% to 6 cents and a market cap of $7 million. Shares in the three firms have declined 25% to 45% this week.
