Larry White Named Toshiba CEO

Larry White, the chief operating officer of Toshiba America Business Solutions in Lake Forest, will take over as the company’s chief executive on July 1, replacing the current president and CEO Scott Maccabe, who is retiring.

White joined the company in 1996. As COO, he oversaw strategic planning across Toshiba's business operations throughout North and South America.

“Team Toshiba represents the best our industry has to offer, and we remain committed to providing our customers and resellers with premier systems, solutions and services,’’ White said in the announcement of his promotion.

Maccabe, who is retiring as of June 30, will serve as an advisor to Toshiba America Business Solutions' parent company, Toshiba Tec Corp.
