Harbor Ridge Estate Trades for $9.2M

A six-bedroom home in the Harbor Ridge neighborhood of Newport Beach has sold for $9.2 million, property records indicate.

The home, built in 1982 and extensively remodeled last year, spans nearly 9,000 square feet on three levels.

Kenneth Fait, principal of Costa Mesa-based Facilities Management West and co-owner of the Fait Family Trust, bought the property at 3 Ridgeline Drive in 2016 for $4.2 million, according to records.

Recent upgrades to the property drove the higher sale price; they include an expanded kitchen, a newly constructed deck with ocean and city views, and a subterranean family room with a fireplace, full bar, wine cellar, kitchen, two bathrooms, sauna, and an additional bedroom.

An elevator services all three floors.

Gigi Thomas of Compass held the listing for the sale. Celeste Gilles of Villa Real Estate represented the buyer.
