Fountain Valley Regional Hospital and Medical Center appointed Kenneth McFarland chief executive.
He previously served in the same role at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, stepping down from that role last February. He had served as Fountain Valley’s interim chief executive since September, when former Chief Executive Joseph Badalian left for Redwood City-based Verity Health System.
Fountain Valley provides general and critical care, and has 400 beds. It’s part of Dallas-based Tenet Health.
