Fountain Valley’s Coastline Community College unveiled a new name—Coastline College—and look last month when it celebrated the school’s programs at its Innovation Expo.
The school modernized its logo to appear as a crest with the letter “C” embedded inside with the school’s name above the image. It also debuted a new website.
The expo hosted more than 30 booths showcasing various programs and technology such as the digital media table, which featured a 3D printer with visitors able to take home their own 3D printed design, as well as a cybersecurity booth with a mock crime scene for digital forensics.
Coastline plans to launch several new degrees next year such as an associate degree in digital forensics and incident response, as well as associate degree in data analytics. The campus is planning to open a new student service building.
Coastline was established in 1976 and has three locations, in Garden Grove, Westminster and Newport Beach. It offers online courses as well. The school is part of the Coast Community College District, which is the largest district in Orange County with about 132,000 students.
