THE PRO-EL TORO AIRPORT SUPERVISORS ARE READY TO TRIM THE SIZE OF the project, from an airport capable of handling 28.8 million passengers a year, down to only 18.8 million. (John Wayne handles between 7 and 8 million, LAX about 67 million).

Amen.

The California Department of Transportation is getting ready to improve the 22 Freeway.

A 22 motorist told the Register, “Take the train money and fix the freeway.”

Amen.

Congressional Republicans want another tax cut, in order to stimulate the slumping economy.

President Bush, in the face of entrenched political opposition, is pushing for liberalization of our immigration policies toward Mexico.

Amen.
