Valeant Pharmaceuticals International, the Costa Mesa drug maker, said Wednesday that it was selling a plant in Bryan, Ohio, to Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., a drug maker based in Mumbai, India.
The sale price wasn’t disclosed.
Valeant once counted some 33 factories around the world, but now is down to a handful. Selling and streamlining its manufacturing operations has been a key focus of Valeant management’s overhaul of the drug maker from its former days as ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc.
Valeant stock was unchanged at $20.40 in trading.
