Unemployment Rate Falls in March

Orange County’s unemployment rate fell to 3.4% in March, down from 3.9% a year ago.

The unemployment rate was 3.6% in February.

The total number of nonfarm jobs in OC rose by 23,300 workers, or 1.6%, to 1,499,600 from a year ago.

California’s unemployment rate was 5% in March, with the U.S. rate at 4.8%.
