Irvine-based Intersil Corp. said it has been named a preferred supplier of power management chips by Fujitsu Siemens Computers for its computer motherboards.
The agreement covers Intersil’s Endura multiphase pulse width modulation control circuits. The chips are used to control power on motherboards using Intel Corp’s Pentium 4 processors.
