Chris Walsh has joined Sunwest Bank as president of its offices in Tustin, Newport Beach and Orange. Walsh, who lives with his wife and three children in Laguna Niguel, replaces Jim LeSieur, who will continue as the bank’s CEO.
Prior to joining Sunwest Bank, Walsh was senior vice president and regional manager of California Bank & Trust in Irvine.
Walsh said Sunwest Bank prides itself on being the oldest independent bank in Orange County and on providing personalized services.
“We deliver high (levels of) services,” Walsh said.
Walsh, who has lived in Laguna Niguel since 1970, has sat on the boards of directors of Saddleback YMCA and Mission Hospital; he also is active in coaching athletics.
