San Clemente-based Sunstone Hotel Investors Inc. has sold a 78-room Holiday Inn in Provo, Utah.
The sale, which closed late last week, was for $3.7 million.
“We continue to execute our strategy of upgrading the overall quality of the portfolio by selling non-core hotels,” said Chief Executive Robert A. Alter.
Sunstone has acquired some high-profile hotels of late, including the Century Plaza Hotel & Spa in Los Angeles. Other big hotel buys were the 403-room Hyatt Regency Newport Beach and the Hyatt Regency in Atlanta.
Sunstone owns 60 hotels with a total of 17,333 rooms.
