Newport Beach-based StrataCare, a provider of software used in reviewing workers’ compensation medical claims, released a new Windows and Internet-based software package.
The product, StrataWare 3.0, will allow users to check current fee schedules and drug and medical supply availability, and to review treatment plans online. StrataWare also automatically reviews workers’ compensation bills and adjusts them according to state guidelines.
Founded in 1999, StrataCare’s clients include Republic Indemnity Insurance, Berkshire Hathaway Insurance and Sempra Energy. StrataCare’s sister company, Care Solutions, provides mail-in bill-review services.
