STEC Inc. chief technical officer and chief operating officer Mark Moshayedi was named president of the Santa Ana-based maker of flash memory products on Tuesday.
He maintains his previous titles, as well, and reports to Chief Executive Manouch Moshayedi.
Moshayedi, who joined STEC in 1992 and has primarily led the company’s technical development, maintains his previous titles.
STEC was known as SimpleTech until last month when it sold off its consumer division, along with the company name, to San Mateo software maker Fabrik Inc. for $43 million.
