Santa Ana-based SimpleTech Inc. said Tuesday that its fourth-quarter sales and profit would be lower than expected.
The maker of memory and storage products said revenue in the period is expected to be $60 million to $63 million, down from a prior forecast of about $70 million.
SimpleTech said the cut is primarily due to lower sales to the company’s server-related dynamic random access memory products.
The company also said that its fourth-quarter profit would be lower than previous expectations.
Shares of SimpleTech fell about 6% to 3.58 in afterhours trading.
