An unnamed Newport Beach investor paid $1.6 million to Birtcher Real Estate Group of Newport Beach for a 9,351-square-feet office building at 1500 Brookhollow Drive in Santa Ana. The office building is leased for five years to Sokka Gakai. Louis Tomaselli and Mitch Zehner of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented both parties.
WJ Capital Corp. paid $1.1 million to Chegini Trust for a 9,000-square-foot office building in the Amberwood Office Park at 1761 Garry Ave. in Santa Ana. Tony Gleason of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the seller. Paul Gingrich and Chris Migliori of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer.
KLP Properties paid $1.1 million to John M. Reid for a 6,400-square-foot office building in Airway Commerce Center Office and Industrial Park at 3185-H Airway Ave. in Costa Mesa. KLP bought the building for King’s Seafood Co. Tony Gleason of Voit Commercial Brokerage represented the seller. Terry Grant of Curtis & Associates represented the buyer.
The Bade Family Trust paid $1 million to HG Burke Talega LLC for a 7,127-square-foot industrial building at 1241 Puerta Del Sol in San Clemente. Guy LaFerrara, Jay Mast, Dean Krieger and Kurt Bruggeman of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented both parties.
Kindness General Contractors Inc. paid $1 million to Ohshita Family Trust of Capistrano Beach for a 4,500-square-foot industrial building at 12891 Nelson St. in Garden Grove. Kindness is relocating to Garden Grove from Huntington Beach. Chris Migliori and Paul Gingrich of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services represented both parties.
WDI Industries, a maker of porcelain and plastic fixtures, paid $1 million to Marleen Rognlien for an 8,025-square-foot building at 3 Musick in the Irvine Spectrum’s Fairbanks Business Park. Allen Basso and Ted Rommel of Lee & Associates represented both parties.
LEASES
Wynn’s Extended Care Inc., part of Miami-based Phoenix American Insurance Group, leased 20,800 square feet of office space at 675 Placentia Ave. in Brea’s Fairway Center. Darren Shibuya of CRESA Partners in Los Angeles represented Wynn’s. Mark Friend of CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented landlord Lend Lease Real Estate Investments Inc.
Laguna Hills-based systems engineering company Sparta Inc. leased 15,986 square feet of office space at 25531 Commercentre Drive in Lake Forest for its corporate headquarters. The 63-month lease is valued at about $1 million. Doug Mathews and Gary Allen of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented landlord Pacific Jack LLC.
The Melting Pot expanded its existing space to 6,104 square feet at The Jamboree Promenade in Irvine. The Melting Pot signed a nine-year lease for the extra 1,230 square feet for $400,000. International Creative Artists signed a five-year lease for 3,014 square feet at The Jamboree Promenade in Irvine, valued at $375,000.
