Zelman Retail Partners Inc. bought a 105-acre property in Burbank from Lockheed Martin Corp. for $70 million. Bob Hamilton of Allen Matkins Leck Gamble & Mallory LLP represented Zelman. Tom Muller at O’Melveny & Myers represented Lockheed Martin.
LEASES
Bullett Freight leased a 22,413-square-foot building in the Ball Road Business Park at 721 E. Ball Road in Anaheim from Koll Bren Schriber for $2.1 million. Barry Walshe and George Hapsic of Voit Commercial Brokerage’s Anaheim Metro office represented Koll Bren Schriber.
Hayes Martin & Associates leased an 8,191-square-foot facility at 1300 Dove St. in Newport Beach. The transaction is valued at $1.1 million. Voit Commercial Brokerage represented Hayes. Colliers Seeley represented the landlord, RREEF America REIT.
Allmet Building Products renewed its lease on a 42,535-square-foot facility at 955 Columbia St. in Brea. The transaction is valued at $2.9 million. Voit Commercial Brokerage represented both Allment and the landlord, Voit Cal Portfolio Partners Phase I.
Bank of America renewed and expanded its lease by 8,000 square feet at 500 Newport Center Drive in Newport Beach. The total size of the lease is 100,000 square feet.

San Clemente-based The Collaborative West was named MAME finalist for Best Model Landscape Architecture for Sycamore Grove, Magnolia Hill, Windward, Emerson, and attached community of the year for Sycamore Grove and Heritage Walk and detached community of the year for Windward. MAME (Major Achievement in Marketing Excellence) is sponsored by the Sales & Marketing Council of the Building Industry Association of Southern California.
Berryman & Henigar received a five-year contract to provide Pavement Management System Services to the city of Orange. The firm will be responsible for a comprehensive pavement and infrastructure management program, including pavement design, field survey and geographic information systems. The parties also signed an addendum to the contract agreeing to comply with Governmental Accounting Standards Board Statement 34 requirements.
RBF Consulting, Irvine, and Keyser-Marsten & Associates were selected to provide professional services for the Alameda Point Naval Air Station Reuse Plan Project. The development will feature more than 2,000 housing units, 104,000 square feet of commercial development, 21 acres for school facilities, 140 acres for parks, a 60-acre sports park, 270-acre golf course and hotel sites.
