REAL ESTATE DEALS

BPG Properties Ltd. paid $29 million to Hart Realty Advisors for two industrial buildings at 1600 and 1650 N. Kraemer Blvd. in Anaheim. The buildings sold for about $105 per square foot. Mitch Zehner, Louis Tomaselli and Michael Hefner of Voit Commercial Brokerage LP represented both parties.

Guardian Storage Centers paid $16 million to Breezy Meadows LLC for Tustin Gateway Center, a 75,457-square-foot shopping center on Red Hill and Edinger avenues in Tustin. The center sold for $212 per square foot. Bill Garrett of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented the buyer. Ryan Gallagher of Grubb & Ellis Co. represented the seller.

Highpoint Capital LLC paid $15.8 million to Core Realty Holdings for a 77,165-square-foot office building at 3187 Red Hill Ave. in Costa Mesa. The building sold for $205 per square foot. Highpoint Capital represented itself. Brian Garbutt of Lee & Associates represented the seller.

Amstar Group paid $12.4 million for College Country Center, a 59,793-square-foot shopping center at 7302 to 7400 Center Ave. in Huntington Beach. The center sold for $207 per square foot. Maury Panza of Collins Commercial Corp. represented the buyer. Edward Hanley and Eric Wohl of Hanley Brown Group represented the seller.

Benzen Properties paid $4.2 million to Huntington Beach-based Meg Technologies Inc., a seller of aerospace bolts, nuts, rivets and other fasteners, for a 30,273-square-foot industrial building at 15381 Assembly Lane in Huntington Beach. Bob Goodmanson of CB Richard Ellis Group Inc. represented both parties.

Escalette Enterprises LLC paid $2.4 million to Logan Mesa LLC for an 11,760-square-foot industrial building at 1267 Logan in Costa Mesa. Jeff Williams at Voit Commercial represented the buyer. Kevin Thomas and Pat Lacey of Lee & Associates represented the seller.

Anaheim-based SMT Manufacturing Inc. paid $1 million to N. Anaheim Associates LLC for a 5,760-square-foot industrial building at 1245 N. Patt St. in Anaheim. Scott Seal of GVA Daum and Seth Davenport of Voit Commercial represented the buyer. Jim deRegt and Brad Gilmer of Lee & Associates represented the seller, Anaheim Associates.

Ken Kaisch paid $600,000 to Stephen and Charlene Rose for a 2,000-square-foot office building at 733 E. Chapman Ave. in Fullerton. Bob Sattler of Lee & Associates represented the buyer. Leslie Savage of Realty Executives represented the sellers.

Costa Mesa-based clothing maker Volcom Inc. leased a 164,000-square-foot warehouse at 5 Pasteur in Irvine. The value of the five-year deal wasn’t disclosed. Joseph E. Miller of Voit Commercial represented Volcom. Sue Lyle of landlord The Irvine Company represented her company.

Mark is the former Editor-in-Chief and current Community Editor of the Orange County Business Journal, one of the premier regional business newspapers in the country.
