Advanced Group LLC paid $42 million to a Boca Raton, Fla.-based investment partnership for the 242-unit Park Plaza Apartments at 805 W. Stevens Ave. in Santa Ana. Martin Ensbury and Stewart Weston of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. represented both parties.
TKB International Inc. paid $4.1 million to South Coast Children’s Society Inc. for a 37,455-square-foot research and development building at 1620 Sunflower in Costa Mesa. Pat Lacey of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc. represented the buyer. Ted Bean of Real Estate Enterprises represented the seller.
Olsen Family Trust paid $1.75 million to EFLP Partnership of Anaheim for a 14,913-square-foot office building at 629 N. Main St. in Orange. Chris Migliori of GVA DAUM represented both parties.
Equipment financier Genesis Commercial Capital paid $1.6 million to La Quinta Development for a 6,820-square-foot flex building, one of two buildings at 17521 Gillette in Irvine. Greg Velastegui of Voit Commercial Brokerage LP represented the buyer. Mike Hartel and John Wadsworth of Colliers Seeley International Inc. represented the seller.
Atlanta-based cable TV operator Cox Communications Inc. paid $1.3 million to La Quinta Development for a 6,236-square-foot flex building, also at 17521 Gillette in Irvine. CB Richard Ellis Inc. represented the buyer. Mike Hartel and John Wadsworth yof Colliers Seeley represented the seller.
LEASES
Magic Messenger leased 73,147 square feet of industrial space at 5620 Knott Ave. in Buena Park. The six-year deal is valued at $2 million. Luke McDaniel, Cameron Driscoll and Braden Weber of Cushman & Wakefield Inc. represented the tenant. Scott Smith and Tim Cronin of Lee & Associates represented landlord Crown Realty Associates.
La Palma-based Jaken Co., a maker of industrial shelves, leased 65,000 square feet of distribution space at 6842 Walker in La Palma in a deal valued at $1.5 million. Bob Goodmanson of CB Richard Ellis represented Jaken and landlord IDG Inc.
Crystal Cathedral Ministries leased 42,918 square feet of office space at 324 West Blueridge in Orange. The value of the deal is $2 million. Forrest Wylder of CB Richard Ellis represented Crystal Cathedral. Mitch Zehner and Louis Tomaselli of Voit Commercial represented landlord Catellus Development Corp.
Inovis International Inc. leased 11,887 square feet of office space at 18300 Von Karman Ave. in Irvine. The value of the deal was $1.6 million. The duration of the lease wasn’t disclosed. Rick Sherburne, Alex Hayden, and Travis Boyd of CB Richard Ellis represented the tenant.
Li Lan Qiu leased 5,580 square feet of restaurant space at 31911 Dove Canyon Drive in Rancho Santa Margarita. The 10-year deal is valued at $1.3 million. Dave Bueche and Roger Niez of Sperry Van Ness Asset Management and Leasing represented the tenant and landlord Dove LLC.
DC Capital & Mortgage Investments Inc. leased 3,443 square feet of office space at 1451 Quail St. in Newport Beach. The value of the five-year lease wasn’t disclosed. Dave Bueche and Roger Niez of Sperry Van Ness represented the tenant and landlord Crown Building Partnership.
