SALES

Georgia-Pacific Corp. bought a 420,000-square-foot industrial building at 6565 Valley View St. in La Palma. Brian De Revere, Bob Goodmanson, and Brad Bierbaum of CB Richard Ellis assisted in completing the $17.25 million transaction.

Sares-Regis bought 12 acres at Hoover Street and Hazard Avenue in Westminster. Brian De Revere, Bob Goodmanson, and Brad Bierbaum of CB Richard Ellis represented Sares-Regis, who will market three industrial buildings ranging from 50,678 square feet to 74,107 square feet. Construction will commence this month.

LEASES

RPM Transportation has leased a 53,968-square-foot industrial building at 12435 McCann Drive in Santa Fe Springs. The 49-month lease is valued at $1.6 million. Tim Cronin of Lee & Associates represented RPM. Steve Sprenger and Cameron Driscoll of Grubb & Ellis represented the landlord, 12435 McCann Drive LLC.

Western Digital Corp. has leased a 187,635-square-foot facility at 20411-20521 Lake Forest Drive in Lake Forest. The 10-year lease is valued at of $35 million. Dan Knudson and Ken Hulbert of Daum Corporate Services Group represented Western Digital. The lessor, Serrano Jack LLC, was represented by CB Richard Ellis.

OTHER

Ware & Malcomb Architects Inc. was awarded the design of Reinhold Industries’ corporate headquarters building at 12827 E. Imperial Highway, Santa Fe Springs. Ware will design the shell and tenant improvements for the 50,000-square-foot project. The architects’ office also has moved to new office space at 18111 Von Karman Ave in Irvine.

Johnson Fain Partners will design the four-building 375,000-square-foot Experian North American headquarters scheduled for completion by spring 2002. The complex, on 20 acres in Costa Mesa, will accommodate 1,500 workers.

Avalon Financial Group Inc. arranged the financing of Harbor Technology Center in Torrance for $3.8 million on behalf of Lai Trust. The 61,400-square-foot center is at 20280 and 20300 Vermont Ave. in Torrance.

DMK, Tustin, completed construction of tenant improvement work on the Mesa Verde Shopping Center in Costa Mesa and construction of retail shops for the $1.6 million new La Habra Town Center designed by Bickel Underwood Architects, Newport Beach. In Costa Mesa, the work included a remake of 15,000 square feet of shell space for future tenants as well as new storefronts, restrooms and storage spaces. The La Habra center included an 8,000-square-foot food court as one of its three buildings.
