Dayna International bought a 21,921-square-foot industrial facility at 7441Vincent Circle in Huntington Beach from M.F.V. Inc. for $1,775,601. Von der Ahe Commercial Brokerage represented M.F.V. Inc. Curt Stalder of Lee & Associates represented Dayna International.
Beach Cities Community Church bought a 16,500-square-foot retail building at 9872 Hamilton Ave. in Huntington Beach from Huntington Beach Properties of Beverly Hills for $1.1 million. Bill Browne of Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach office represented both the buyer and the seller. Mark Baziak of Grubb & Ellis’ Newport Beach office represented the seller.
AVG Partners of Beverly Hills bought a 166,450-square-foot warehouse and showroom at 1256 N. Magnolia Ave. in Anaheim, from Magnolia Anaheim Associates of Pittsburgh for $4.5 million. Allen Segal and David Ryan of Collins Commercial Corp. were the brokers involved in the transaction.
Leases
MCI WorldCom leased a 48,774-square-foot building at 16901 Jamboree Road in Irvine. The 10-year lease is valued in excess of $5 million. MCI WorldCom was represented by the Seeley Company. The landlord, Western State Technologies, was represented by Jeff Mitchell and Dave Travis of Voit Commercial Brokerage of Irvine.
Hirsch Electronics Corp. leased a 34,599-square-foot facility at 1900 Carnegie Avenue in Santa Ana. The 7 1/2-year lease is valued at $2.7 million. 2560 Redhill LLC, the landlord, leased the site. Jeff Mitchell of Voit Commercial Brokerage in Irvine completed the deal.
Superior Manufacturing Company LLC of Santa Ana leased a 70,722-square-foot building at 15776 Laguna Canyon Road in Irvine. The 5-year lease is worth $3.5 million. Jim Snyder of Lee & Associates represented Superior.
PacifiCare Health Systems leased 64,440 square feet at 10803 Hope St. in Cypress. The total consideration was $3.5 million. Andrew L. Youngquist Construction of Costa Mesa has started construction on Meadowview Apartments in Sacramento. The $12.5 million project encompasses 178 buildings. The Meadowview Apartment project is being developed by Ocwen Financial of West Palm Beach, Fla.
R.D. Olson Construction was awarded the contract for Springhill Suites by Marriott in Hawthorne. The six-story, $8 million project will encompass 92,500 square feet for the extended-stay hotel. The 164 suites and meeting rooms are expected to open in May 2001.
