Former Ernst and Young partner Peter G. Dolbee Jr. has joined Irvine-based Haskell & White to head that firm’s corporate tax services group.
Dolbee recently retired from Ernst & Young after 30 years at the firm, more than 20 of that as a tax partner. At Ernst & Young, Dolbee was responsible for tax compliance and consulting services, including mergers and acquisitions, tax planning and accounting, due diligence and transaction structuring for both buyers and sellers.
Haskell & White managing partner Steve Haskell said Dolbee will be overseeing the same functions at his new firm.
Haskell called Dolbee “one of the best tax specialists in Southern California.”
“He will be a valuable professional asset for our firm,” Haskell added.
