Maxim Eshkenazy was named assistant conductor of the Pacific Symphony. Eshkenazy will be music director for the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra and lead family and youth concerts. He has worked as music director of the Bakersfield Youth Orchestra and Pasadena Youth Symphony.
BANKING
James Doan was named assistant vice president, banking center manager at the Huntington Beach branch of Comerica Bank. He was most recently banking center manager for California Center Bank in Garden Grove.
CONSULTING
Linda Wright was promoted to marketing manager at Cumming Corp. in Mission Viejo. She previously was a marketing consultant at the company. Wright will guide marketing development and assist with growth strategies.
EDUCATION
Corine Doughty was named career services director at Orange Coast College. As director, Doughty will oversee the career library, job placement and the internship academy.
ENGINEERING
Dudek added John Westermeier as a senior project manager at its Irvine office. Westermeier has more than 30 years of experience managing environmental studies. He is a member of the Society of Military Engineers.
FINANCE
Newport Beach-based Strategic Global Advisors LLC hired Mark Wimer to its portfolio management team. Wimer recently was lead portfolio manager at Harris Investment Management.
HEALTHCARE
Aliso Viejo-based Cianna Medical Inc. named Jill Anderson as its chief executive and president. Anderson previously was president of BioLucent Inc., which spun off Cianna last year before being bought by Hologic Inc. of Massachusetts. She also was named to Cianna’s board.
LAW
Margaret A.M. Heine joined DiMarcho, Araujo & Montevideo APLC as a partner in its Santa Ana office. She will head the firm’s business group including business transactions and litigation, real estate and estates and probate units.
Douglas J. Evertz and Steven C. Knoblock joined Luce, Forward, Hamilton & Scripps LLP in Irvine. Evertz joined as partner. Knoblock joined as of counsel. Evertz comes to Luce Forward from Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth. Prior to joining Luce Forward, Knoblock was assistant general counsel, senior vice president at Fidelity National Financial Inc.
LIGHTING
Tustin-based Pro-gressive Lighting & Energy Solutions named Tom Johnson vice president of sales. Johnson has 18 years of experience in lighting and energy conservation. He has held senior management positions with Amtech Lighting and Federal Sign & Signal. Johnson also is a member of the Building Owners and Managers Association.

Ignite Health announced several promotions at its Irvine office. Paul Balagot, Kevin Deegan, Ross Fetterloff, Kelly Goeres, Pat Macke, Lisa Matson, Laura Pfister, Greg Reiser and Sean Vassilaros became vice presidents.

David Moyle and Vanessa Besack founded DeMo Communications in Santa Ana. Moyle is cofounder and former art director of Anaheim-based Identity Crisis. Besack is president of Besack & Associates.
Newport Beach-based Government Solutions Inc. hired Julie Cavanaugh as senior project manager. Cavanaugh has more than 25 years of planning experience. She will manage development applications for zoning changes and other discretionary reviews.

Conrad Andersen and Larry Lawrence joined Grubb & Ellis Co. in Santa Ana as senior vice presidents. Both previously worked for Cresa Partners. Andersen has more than 20 years of experience in commercial real estate. Before joining Cresa, Lawrence was director of worldwide real estate for Intel Corp.
RETAIL
The Retail Equation in Irvine named Bob Walters vice president of sales and marketing and Tom Rittman vice president of marketing. Walters was recently vice president of sales at IntelliVid. Rittman was previously vice president of marketing at Datavantage.
SPORTS
The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim promoted Rob Aylesworth and Carla Enriquez and hired Jennifer Soliman. Aylesworth and Enriquez were promoted to corporate sales, Spanish radio sales executives. Soliman was named corporate sales account executive.
