ACCOUNTING

Corbin & Wertz named James F. Moscowitz a principal of the company’s business management consulting team. Moscowitz specializes in business valuation and discount analysis; he has a master’s degree in tax law.

Hein + Associates LLP hired Michael D. Rosen as director of litigation support services. Rosen has testified as an expert witness in federal and state courts and has been an arbitrator and mediator for the National Association of Securities Dealers.


ADVERTISING

Felix Posos has been added to the RiechesBaird Web development team, responsible for the analysis, design and implementation of Web-based applications for the Irvine agency.


ARCHITECTURE

Steve Tuchman has joined Nadel Architects, Costa Mesa, as vice president of finance. Prior to joining Nadel, Tuchman was the director of finance for Tate & Snyder Architects in Las Vegas.


BANKING AND FINANCE

Thomas B. Rogers has been named senior vice president and director of client relations for the south coast region of City National Bank. Rogers will be chairman of City National’s Orange County Advisory Committee. The bank’s OC headquarters are in Irvine.

Irvine-based SaveDaily.com has named Jeff Mahony COO and David LaVigna director of technology. Mahony is a founding member of the company and a 16-year Internet development veteran. LaVigna developed his engineering and technology expertise with NASA and the National Security Agency.

South County Bank, Rancho Santa Margarita, appointed Debbie Santoro vice president and manager and H. Kent Falk vice president and manager of commercial lending.


CONSTRUCTION

Scott Whitlock was named business development manager for the Southern California district of Hensel Phelps Construction Co. Whitlock will be responsible for maintaining client relationships in Southern California, Arizona and Nevada.


EDUCATION

The Irvine Public Schools Foundation named Jerome Amante president. Carolyn McInerney, the foundation’s previous president, was elected to the Irvine school board in November and will remain on the foundation’s board as an ex officio member.


ENGINEERING

Curtis Wright joined the Orange offices of Kimley-Horn and Associates as an aviation practice builder. Wright will continue to work within San Diego, Orange and Los Angeles counties to develop the civil engineering aviation practice, including projects for the Port of San Diego and John Wayne Airport.


ENTERTAINMENT

The Laguna Beach Festival of Arts Board of Directors appointed two new board members: Robin Hall, a 10-year Festival of Arts exhibitor and a founder of the Committee to Keep the Festival in Laguna Beach; and John Rayment, an interim appointee and past board member.


HEALTHCARE

The Huntington Beach Community Clinic announced new officers: Phil Inglee, chairman; Al Guidotti, vice chair; and Maggie Higgins, secretary.


HOSPITALITY

Felice Tatum was appointed communications manager at the Hilton Anaheim; Richard C. Ham was named executive assistant manager of the hotel. Susan DuBois was promoted to assistant manager of the Hilton Sports and Fitness Center; Jana Evans was appointed to conference coordinator, and Kirsten Becker was named event services manager.

David H. Voorhees has been named president of the Club Managers Association of America’s Southern California chapter. Voorhees has been general manager for Big Canyon County Club in Newport Beach since 1996.


LAW

Arter & Hadden LLP elected Thomas H. Reilly a partner in its Irvine office. Reilly joined Arter & Hadden in 1999 from the firm of Scott, Reilly & Whitehead.


MANUFACTURING

Richard Lamparello has been named director of operations for Trinity Golf in Tustin. He will oversee marketing and administration for the golf club manufacturer.


MARKETING AND PUBLIC RELATIONS

Santa Ana-based J. Rice Communications has added Tracey Borowski as senior account executive. Prior to joining J. Rice, Borowski spent two years with Tickets.com.


REAL ESTATE

Professional Community Management of Lake Forest appointed Lori Ziegler general manager for the Marina Pacifica Homeowners Association in Long Beach. Ziegler is a 10-year association management veteran who comes to the Long Beach group from the Colony at California Oaks in Murrieta.


TECHNOLOGY

Michael F. Arrigo was named president and CEO of Tustin-based Erogo Inc. Arrigo has worked for Symantec, Oracle , Ziff-Davis and Hewlett Packard’s e-services division. Erogo manages billing, customers and services for Internet businesses.

Zapways.com, Irvine, promoted Christina Mangram to vice president of e-marketing; she was previously marketing manager.

RealEC Marketplace, a subsidiary of Santa Ana-based Micro General Corp., appointed Jeff Sanderson president. Prior to joining RealEC, Sanderson was president of ACS Systems Inc., another Micro General company, founded by Sanderson in 1985.

Viking Components Inc. hired Mark Canright as vice president of OEM sales. Canright joined Viking from Callidus Software, where he was responsible for sales operations.

Larry Smith joined Intheairnet, an Irvine provider of inflight entertainment and wireless connections for the aviation industry.


UTILITIES

The Santa Margarita Water District appointed Betty H. Olson, Ph.D., president of the board. Olson replaces Sam Johnson, who remains a director.
