The Bank of Orange County appointed Kenneth N. Jameson senior vice president and manager of the Orange office. Before joining the company, Jameson spent 30 years working for Bank of America.
EDUCATION
Irvine-based International School Licensing Corp. elected Alan Rothenberg chairman of the board of directors. Rothenberg will negotiate and secure corporate partnerships for the America’s Schools program, a cooperative marketing program between ISLC and the school boards association within each participating state. The program endeavors to bring corporate funding to school programs.
GOVERNMENT
Charley Wilson, a Santa Margarita Water District board member, was named special district representative alternate to the Local Agency Formation Commission. Wilson was nominated by El Toro Water District’s board of directors to replace former commissioner Doug Rinehart.
The Orange County Board of Supervisors appointed Sally Snyder and Joyce Hanson to the Children and Families Commission of Orange County. Both served on the commission’s technical advisory committee as the chair and vice chair. Snyder is community health program manager for the Consortium for Integrated Health Studies at the University of California, Irvine. Hanson is a member of the Orange County Child Care and Development Local Planning Council.

SCAN named Stuart H. Levine medical director for healthcare informatics. For the past two years, Levine has been a part-time assistant medical director of SCAN. The company also named Linda Rae Carl associate general counsel and Susan Nakaoki vice president of finance. In addition, SCAN named Jo Pledge vice president of contracting.
INSURANCE
HNC Insurance Solutions, Irvine, appointed Bill Hayes vice president of worldwide sales. Before joining HNC, Hayes was vice president of national sales for Cardiff Software.
Pacific Life Insurance Co. promoted Joyce Pead to assistant vice president, Brad Sherrell to assistant vice president of information technology and Andrea Hook to field vice president in the life insurance division of the Newport Beach office. Pacific Life also promoted Linda Kotowicz to field vice president in the life insurance department, Richard Banno to assistant vice president in the real estate division and Ann Lemmon to assistant vice president in the real estate division’s accounting and reporting area. Bernard Dougherty and Violet Osterberg were promoted to assistant vice presidents in the securities division.

Jason Lee joined Newport Beach-based Burnett Companies as vice president of engineering and planning. Lee has experience in residential land development of more than 3,000 single-family homes in Southern California
The Newport Beach office of Grubb & Ellis hired Garrett Sholer as associate vice president. The firm also named Robert Reicher research services manager. Most recently, Reicher was vice president of Market Profiles, an Orange County real estate research and consulting firm.
Michael Battaglia was promoted to director of forward planning for Standard Pacific Homes of Costa Mesa. Battaglia is an active member of the Building Industry Association and Political Action Committee.

Irvine-based Exult Inc. hired Lloyd Somers as executive director of IT applications and operations. Somers comes to Exult from a 15-year stint with Weyerhaeuser, a forestry products firm. Exult provides Web-enabled integrated services designed to manage human resources functions for large companies.
