McDermott & Bull Inc., an executive search firm based in Irvine, hired Sami Revah as principal consultant. Revah has more than 25 years of experience in international sales, business development, operations and consulting.
FINANCE
Newport Beach-based Downey Savings and Loan Association, a unit of Downey Financial Corp., hired Thomas O’Day as vice president of major loans. O’Day previously was vice president and regional director at Delaware Investment Advisers, a subsidiary of Lincoln National Corp.
Mary Safrai was appointed as associate director of the oil and gas group at Irvine-based C.K. Cooper & Co., an investment bank and brokerage company.
HEALTHCARE
St. Joseph Hospital in Orange named Raymond Casciari chairman and promoted Alan Garrett to chief operating officer. Casciari has been with the hospital since 1978. Garrett joined in 1991.
Liz Bear was named administrator of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center’s San Clemente location. Bear has been with the center for more than nine years. She previously was the hospital’s executive director for business development and marketing.
INSURANCE
Barney & Barney LLC added Mark Breneman as account executive at its Aliso Viejo office. Prior to joining, Breneman was vice president of origination for Aon Risk Services Inc. in Irvine.
Rich Roge joined Intercare Insurance Solutions as principal and senior vice president at the company’s new regional headquarters in Irvine.
LAW
Latham & Watkins LLP promoted R. Scott Shean to office managing partner at the firm’s Costa Mesa office. Shean has been with the law firm since 1994.
REAL ESTATE
Merit Cos., which provides community association management services, promoted Tim Guesman to district manager of the Aliso Viejo regional office. He most recently was community manager with Merit.
Irvine-based O’Donnell/Atkins appointed Tom Reimers as senior vice president and hired Steve Moore as chief operating officer. Reimers joined the company four years ago, and formerly was vice president. Moore previously was a controller for Horton and Converse Pharmacies in Newport Beach.
Sares-Regis Group named Ed Eyerman as vice president of sales and marketing in the for-sale residential division. Eyerman joined the company in 2003.
Sperry Van Ness Commercial Real Estate Advisors in Irvine hired Fred Sheriff as senior vice president/regional manager. Sheriff has more than 30 years of experience in commercial real estate.
TECHNOLOGY
Huntington Beach-based BBE Sound Inc., which makes sound technologies for consumer products such as TVs, telephones and automobiles, named Yoshi Asahi as vice president of technology in the licensing division. The company also hired James Lucas as vice president of marketing in the licensing division and Chris Locke as communications director.
Scott Feltenberg was appointed vice president of finance and Collin Baker became vice president of customer engineering at Irvine-based WiSpry Inc., which makes chips for wireless phones. Feltenberg has more than 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Baker has more than 25 years of experience in the chip industry.
