The Irvine office of Carrier Johnson promoted Jeff Causey to director and Mark Loxsom to principal in charge of operations.
CONSTRUCTION
Roel Construction Co. in Irvine hired Mike Kearon as project manager. He has more than 17 years experience in the construction industry. Fidel Olvera was named superintendent. He has more than 20 years experience in the industry.
FINANCE
Tustin-based Sunwest Bank appointed Greg Erikson senior vice president and regional manager for commercial banking. He will work at the Anaheim branch. He has worked in the banking and financial services industry for more than 17 years. Bob Gedeon was appointed vice president and senior relationship manager for the Anaheim office. He most recently worked as a vice president and lending officer with Wells Fargo Bank. Karen Conlon was appointed to the board of Sunwest. She is the president of the California Association of Community Managers. Jim Bradley was appointed vice president and relationship manager for the Tustin branch. He has more than 30 years of banking experience, including work at Bank of America, Sanwa Bank and Citicorp.
George Elkins Mortgage Banking added Greg Cole, Karine Clark-Foreman and Joseph McGhie as senior lenders in the Newport Beach office.
Newport Beach-based Euro Pacific Capital Inc. hired Devin Brady as an investment consultant. He joins the company from Morgan Stanley in Los Angeles.

The Irvine office of Ross, Dixon & Bell promoted Jennifer Mathis to partner. She practices insurance law and litigation, as well as media law. Dan Rashtian and Dan Streeter were named associates.
Christopher D. Holt has been named an associate attorney for the Santa Ana office of Klinedinst PC. Holt practices in the areas of bankruptcy, business, general counsel, international law, litigation and real estate.
MARKETING
Kate Rader was appointed director of business development at Noelle Corporate Communications in Santa Ana. Prior to joining Noelle, Rader worked as a business development manager for Coca-Cola North America in Dallas.
Brian Lochrie was promoted to vice president of Waters & Faubel in Lake Forest. Lochrie has been with the firm for more than three years. He previously worked as a senior account executive and media specialist.
NONPROFIT
The Ocean Institute in Dana Point named Tim McMahon, senior vice president of Grubb & Ellis Co.’s retail services group, as chairman of Jazz in January. The proceeds of the event benefit the institute, which educates students and teachers in ocean awareness, marine life and maritime history.
REAL ESTATE
Beazer Homes USA Inc. named Joavan Tseng to the newly created position of vice president and general manager of the homebuilder’s Southern California division in Orange. He has worked for Beazer for 15 years.
Mission Viejo-based Merit Property Management Inc. promoted Mari Jordan to facility and programs manager of Talega Maintenance Corp. for the masterplanned community of Talega in San Clemente. Jordan joined Merit in 2001 as facility administrator at the Rancho Santa Margarita Beach Club. Most recently she worked as Talega’s community association management team, where she was responsible for facility administration and program coordination.
John E. Perrine was appointed a financial adviser at Merrill Lynch & Co. He will work out of the Laguna Hills office.
