Orange County’s Credit Union in Santa Ana promoted Jeff Harper to vice president, lending. Harper has been with the credit union for seven years and previously held the position of assistant vice president, lending. Four other managers were promoted to assistant vice presidents: Denise O. Belland, lending; Ray Estes, purchasing and facilities; Shelia J. Fisher, collections; and Randy Stolp, call center.
EDUCATION
Diane Turner was named director of public information and marketing for Saddleback College in Mission Viejo. Turner most recently ran her own company, Diane Turner Commun-ications, based in Huntington Beach.
ENGINEERING
Irvine-based Fuscoe Engineering Inc. promoted Robert A. Chase to principal at its San Diego office. Chase has been with the company since 1995.
GOVERNMENT
The city of Irvine appointed Sean Joyce as assistant city manager and Tina Christ-iansen as director of community development. Joyce comes from the city of South Pasadena where he served as city manager for the past seven years. Christiansen has been with the city of San Diego as development services director for the past eight years.
Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger appointed Bobby McDonald, head of the Black Chamber of Commerce of Orange County, to the California Cultural and Historical Endowment Board.
HEALTHCARE
Costa Mesa-based hospital buyout company Integrated Healthcare Holdings Inc. hired James T. Ligon as a partner, executive vice president, finance and chief financial officer.
Irvine-based Ambry Genetics named Michelle Hamilton as vice president of marketing. Prior to joining the testing company, Hamilton held senior management positions with Nexell Therapeu-tics Inc. and Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc.
LAW
Seattle-based Preston Gates & Ellis LLP added Louis Cullman as partner to its Irvine office. Cullman comes from Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth of Newport Beach. Michelle Glasky also joined the firm as a patent agent.
MEDIA
Larry Riley was appointed as vice president of circulation at the Orange County Register. Riley brings nearly 20 years of experience and for the past two years, he served as vice president of circulation at Knight Ridder’s Saint Paul Pioneer Press in Minnesota.
NONPROFIT
Community Services Programs in Santa Ana added Mark Chandik, managing partner at Financial Diligence Partners in Irvine, to its board of directors. The nonprofit also installed new officers: David Hackney, president; Steve Claton, vice president; Cathleen Jordan Keene, secretary; and Jeff Cadieux, treasurer.
Michael Sanchez joined the board of directors of the Alzheimer’s Association of Orange County in Orange. Sanchez is part of the executive management team of Santa Ana-based Tristar Capital LLC, which provides equipment financing services.
REAL ESTATE
Passco Real Estate Enterprises Inc., an Irvine-based provider of real estate investment services, appointed Larry K. Sullivan to the position of chief financial officer. For the past 18 years, Sullivan was managing director of PM Realty Advisors in Newport Beach. Gary Smith joined Passco as vice president, asset management. Smith brings 20 years of experience in the industry to Passco.
ResMae Financial Corp., a Brea-based residential mortgage company, hired Jeffrey A. Sorensen as senior vice president, managing director, capital markets. Sorensen most recently served as senior vice president, secondary marketing, for the Long Beach mortgage unit of Washington Mutual Inc.
SPORTS
The National Hockey League’s Mighty Ducks of Anaheim made four promotions and a new hire. The Mighty Ducks hired Pam Kennedy as its advertising sales manager. Kennedy most recently was a strategic partner specialist at the Orange County Market Place in Costa Mesa. Alex Gilchrist was promoted to director, communications and team services from manager of communications and team services. Merit Tully was named communications and team services manager. Tully previously was senior media relations representative. Maureen Nyeholt, who previously was administrative assistant to the senior vice president and general manager, was made executive assistant/travel coordinator. Gina Bulgheroni was promoted to premium ticketing representative. She previously was ticketing representative.
