ADVERTISING & PUBLIC RELATIONS

Brower, Miller & Cole, an Irvine-based marketing, public relations and advertising company, promoted Adrianna Hosford to account executive. Hosford previously was the public relations and special events coordinator for nonprofit Habitat for Humanity’s South Bay/Long Beach affiliate.

BANKING

Irvine-based Commercial Capital Bancorp hired Pete Meyers, Jo Anne Massaro and Tony Scholl as directors of loan production at its banking unit, Commercial Capital Bank.

EDUCATION

The Music Intelligence Neural Development Institute in Costa Mesa added seven members to its board: Marian Bergeson, Bruce Cahill, David Horowitz, Donald Kennedy, Michael Lefkowitz, Herbert Lucas and William Podlich. The institute is a nonprofit that researches and develops innovative education programs for elementary school students.

HEALTHCARE

Menlo Park-based Versant Ventures said Charles Warden will join the venture capital firm as managing director. Warden comes to Versant from Schroder Ventures Life Sciences, where he served as a general partner at the venture capital advisor’s Boston office. Versant also named Amy Scott as a new associate. Scott formerly worked at Irvine-based Edwards Lifesciences Corp. in brand management and marketing. Warden and Scott will work out of Versant’s Newport Beach office.

LAW

David R. Koch joined Costa Mesa-based Turner Green Afrasiabi & Arledge LLP. Koch comes to Turner Green from Los Angeles’ O’Melveny & Myers LLP and will practice commercial litigation.

MANUFACTURING

Anaheim-based Moseys Production Machinists, a maker of metal and plastic components for aerospace, medical and semiconductor companies, added Duane Roesch as engineer.

Junckers Hardwood Inc., an Anaheim maker and distributor of prefinished solid hardwood flooring, hired Jim Watson as its territory sales representative for Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

NONPROFIT

Denise Finch joined Mission San Juan Capistrano as special events coordinator. Finch will oversee planning of Mission events, including concerts, festivals and art exhibits.

The National Fibromyalgia Association in Orange hired Amy Sanders as director of education and development. Sanders will work with drug companies, foundations and other institutions to help develop educational programs. Corin Walson joined as the nonprofit’s public relations and marketing manager.

REAL ESTATE

Newport Beach-based John Laing Homes named Lee Boylan vice president of customer knowledge. Boylan will develop research programs to help the homebuilder anticipate trends in buyers’ preferences.

InHouseLender.com, a Santa Ana-based mortgage lender, named Rick Rodriguez relationship manager. Rodriguez brings more than seven years of account management and sales experience.

Kevin Hampton joined Western National Realty Advisors, an Irvine-based construction and property management company, as vice president of development. Hampton brings nearly 15 years of experience to Western National.

Michael Johnson joined the Renaissance at the Regency, a senior living community in Laguna Woods, as executive director. Johnson has 18 years of experience in the hospitality and senior care industries.

TECHNOLOGY

Dennis Kost joined Irvine-based MyWeb- team.com. Kost will be involved in business development for the Internet consulting and Web site development company. Kost previously was a senior systems analyst at Vans Inc. in Santa Fe Springs.

TOURISM

The Balboa Bay Club & Resort in Newport Beach added George Lysak to its executive team. Lysak will oversee the resort’s sales and marketing unit. Lysak most recently was an associate with Event Management Solutions in Las Vegas.
