ARCHITECTURE

Irvine-based KTGY Group Inc. named Keith Labus and Ken Ryan shareholders. Labus has been with the company since 2002 with planning and design experience in affordable- housing projects. Ryan currently heads the company’s community planning and urban design studio and has more than 20 years of industry experience.


ASSOCIATIONS

The California Landscape Contractors Association has named Andrew Baker, Kamran Dideban, Steve Guise, Ruthie Horner and Dan Kamieniecki to its 2008 Beautification Awards Committee. The annual awards program will honor local members for excellence in landscape installation and maintenance.

Joel Kuperberg has joined the legal affairs committee of the Association of California Water Agencies. Kuperberg is a partner at Rutan & Tucker LLP. He chairs the firm’s public law section.

The Forensic Expert Witness Association named Geoffrey D. Hichborn, Richard M. Squar, Steven Murow, Richard L. Albee, William Broz, George Reis and Robert L. Rowe to its board. The Newport Beach-based association was founded in 1994 for the professional development, ethics and promotion of forensic experts in various areas.


FINANCE

Dawn Svedberg was named senior vice president of national sales at credit information provider Informative Research in Garden Grove. Svedberg previously was first vice president and area manager for the correspondent lending division of Countrywide Financial Corp.


LAW

Todd O. Litfin was named city attorney of Villa Park. Litfin previously was assistant city attorney. He is a partner at Rutan & Tucker LLP.


MEDIA & MARKETING

MossWarner Communications in Mission Viejo has hired Doug Blecher as vice president and Rusty Forman as creative director. Blecher recently was senior vice president at Appliedinfo Partners and Forman was executive creative director at D2 Creative.

Rick Mitenberger was named senior vice president at Westbound Communications Inc., a marketing and public relations firm based in Orange. Mitenberger previously was marketing director at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo.


NONPROFIT

Rachel Owens was added to the Serving People in Need board in Costa Mesa. Owens is president and cofounder of Succes-sion Strategies Inc. and Tri-Circle Financial and Insurance Services. She provides advice and counsel to family businesses in the area.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County named Peter Desforges as chairman. Desforges has been a member of the board for 12 years. He is currently a partner at Wohl Investment Co.

Newport Beach-based Beckstrand Cancer Foundation named Jan Salta co-chair of its Annual Diamond & Pearl Ball in the fall. She will help with guest development, underwriting and event coordination. Salta began working with the foundation in 2004.


PUBLIC RELATIONS

Porter Novelli in Irvine promoted Kate Mossbarger to account executive. She previously was an assistant account executive. Mossbarger is on the board of the Public Relations Society of America, Orange County chapter, as chair of the Young Professionals Committee.


REAL ESTATE

Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors in Irvine promoted Kevin T. Fryman to vice president. Fryman previously was senior associate. He is a potential certified commercial investment member.

Newport Beach-based Surterre Properties has named Rick Langevin and Nanette Vodra as directors of the custom homes site sales program for Covenant Hills in Ladera Ranch. Langevin has represented luxury properties throughout the county. Vodra has 10 years of experience in the county’s luxury real estate market and financial management.

Ilze Lemus was promoted to group coordinator at Irvine-based Keystone Pacific Prop-erty Management Inc. Lemus previously was senior community association manager.

PM Realty Group in Irvine has named Chris Stirling senior vice president of development and acquisitions. Stirling previously was a founding partner of Stirling Real Estate Group. He is a member of Urban Land Institute and the Building Owners and Managers Association.


TECHNOLOGY

Entisys Solutions Inc., a Concord-based reseller of a Citrix Systems Inc. software, named Glen Holmes vice president of the Southwest region. Holmes will oversee Irvine-based Agile360, which Entisys bought in January.
