Ware Malcomb, an architectural and interior design firm, hired three new people for its Irvine office. The company appointed Judie Lai project architect in the commercial department, Kristen James project manager in the interiors group, and Sunny Johnston project manager in the technology group.
FINANCE
Costa Mesa-based investment bank RSM EquiCo named A. John Dorey senior managing director of its RSM EquiCo Capital Markets LLC unit.
City National Bank promoted Tom Rogers to manager of the bank’s Orange County region. Rogers has been at City National since 2000. Senior vice president Erich Bollinger was promoted to manager of South Orange County commercial banking services.
Robert E. Dietrich joined Irvine-based FMV Opinions Inc. as managing director of its real estate valuation services division. Dietrich formerly was a director at KPMG LLP.
Richard Quarterman of Irvine was elected first vice president of the California Society of Enrolled Agents, a government group that appoints agents to assist taxpayers with their tax planning and tax returns.
HEALTHCARE
Santa Ana-based Physicians Care, a healthcare benefits management company, appointed Marilyn Brown manager of the company’s care management services department
LAW
Baker & Hostetler LLP appointed Martin P. Florman partner in its Costa Mesa office. Florman joins the firm’s business practice group, which represents national and global clients.
MARKETING
Erin Scherfenberg has been promoted to program manager at The Peterson Group, a Newport Beach marketing and communications agency. Scherfenberg previously worked as an account coordinator and has been with the company since 2002.
Mice DisplayWorks, a subsidiary of Mice North America, appointed four new account executives: Connie Bailey, Bruce Liby, Greg Mahaffy and Steve Riches. Jeffrey A. Spizale was named director of business development.
NONPROFIT
THINK Together, which starts after-school programs in poor neighborhoods, elected Darrel Anderson to its board. Anderson is a third generation member of the Knott family and a former general partner at Knott’s Berry Farm.
REAL ESTATE
Matthew Brady has joined the Southern California division of Atlanta-based Beazer-Homes USA Inc. as a land acquisition man-ager.
Bradley Hillgren was named president of the Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group. Hillgren will work out of Lowe’s Irvine office. His responsibilities include commercial real estate development, acquisition and management business nationwide.
Keystone Pacific Property appointed Maureen Fitzpatrick and Sari Welch community association managers.
SERVICES
Newport Beach-based Precept Group named Steve Zarate as chief operations officer and chief information officer and Trou von Hussen as vice president of consulting services.
TECHNOLOGY
ITT Industries Inc. appointed Brenda L. Reichelderfer president of ITT’s electric components group. Reichelderfer previously served as president of the motion and control segment. She will work out of the company’s Santa Ana facility.
Cypress-based Christie Digital Systems Inc., a provider of projection display devices, appointed Zoran Veselic senior director, product management, and Kathryn Cress director, global marketing programs.
