ACCOUNTING

Luis Puncel was hired as director of assurance services at the Irvine office of Santa Monica-based Stonefield Josephson Inc. Puncel previously was with Universal Electronics Inc. in Cypress.

ARCHITECTURE

Susan Jacques was promoted to production manager of interiors, and Jimmy Nhieu was promoted to project manager in the interior architecture and design department at Irvine-based Ware Malcomb.

Atlanta-based Greenberg Farrow Architecture Inc. promoted Vasanthi Ramanathan, Indira Ibrahimbegovic and Patrick Sullivan to senior associates at its Tustin office.

BANKING

Tustin’s Sunwest Bank appointed Larry Goswiller as senior vice president and manager of its real estate division.

Leticia Mata was promoted to assistant vice president of community development and education, and John Tierney was hired as facilities manager at Orange County’s Credit Union in Santa Ana.

MetroPacific Bank in Irvine hired Anne Peterson as assistant vice president of residential lending.

EDUCATION

Mary Ferguson was elected chairwoman by the board of trustees of Laguna College of Art and Design.

Chapman University in Orange named Tracy Simmons assistant dean of admissions and financial aid at its law school.

ENERGY

Richard Rosenblum became senior vice president, chief nuclear officer and head of Southern California Edison’s generation operations. Edison’s board elected Ronald L. Litzinger as senior vice president of its transmission and distribution business unit. Rosenblum replaces Harold Ray, who is retiring as executive vice president of generation operations.

HEALTHCARE

Silverado Senior Services in San Juan Capistrano named Sharon McNair as Orange County geriatric care manager.

INSURANCE

Countrywide Insurance Group, a unit of Countrywide Financial Corp., named Michael S. Daoussis as senior vice president of its commercial lines national construction practice at its Irvine office.

LAW

The Costa Mesa office of the firm Greenberg Traurig LLP added David R. Bradford as shareholder in the corporate and securities, intellectual property and technology, media and telecommunications practice groups.

John R. Marshall III became partner at The Law Office of Marla Merhab Robinson in Santa Ana. The firm is changing its name to Merhab, Robinson & Marshall.

San Diego-based Klinedinst PC added Ernest Weiss to its Santa Ana office.

MARKETING

Newport Beach-based Blue C Communica-tions hired three people: Ann Thomas as traffic manager; Juan Torres as junior designer; and Lauren Youman as marketing coordinator.

NONPROFIT

Patrick F. Baker was named chief executive at the Orange County chapter of the American Red Cross, based in Santa Ana. Baker replaces George Chitty.

Andrea Neuman was appointed to the board of the Child Abuse Prevention Center of Orange County.

Nancy Nygren was named chief executive of the Girl Scout Council of Orange County.

REAL ESTATE

Joanne Rowland joined Newport Beach-based Intracorp as vice president of sales and marketing. Rowland comes from Centex Corp.’s Centex Homes, where she served as director of marketing for the South Coast division.

Peter Allen was named to the newly created position of president of urban development at the Irvine office of Arlington, Texas-based D.R. Horton Inc.

Sara Durham joined Keystone Pacific Property Management Inc. as development associate community manager at its Irvine office.

Irvine-based Snyder Langston named Karen Henderson to the newly created position of marketing manager. Marita Grimes was hired as receptionist and office services assistant. Cyndi Benitez and Maxine Flores joined as project coordinators.

Grubb & Ellis Co. added Roger S. Kinoshita as senior associate with the investment group at the company’s Anaheim office. Kinoshita comes from Bentall Residential, where he served as director of finance.
