ACCOUNTING

Alan French joined McGladrey & Pullen LLP as a tax partner in the firm’s Irvine office. Prior, French was a national director of tax with Deloitte & Touche LLP. He specializes in C-corporation tax returns, mergers and acquisitions, partnerships and tax provisions.


ARCHITECTURE

LPA Inc. hired Alice Kim as a project designer, Esteban Rodarte as a technical designer and Margarita Smith as a senior engineer. Joining LPA’s targeted developer group as a technical designer is Elias Terrones.


BANKING

Kevin Dunigan, executive vice president and manager of City National Bank’s core banking division, has been named regional executive for Orange County. Dunigan is responsible for coordinating the bank’s client services, business de-velopment, marketing and expansion efforts in OC.


CONSTRUCTION

Ledcor Construction Inc. named Charles Oltman vice president and regional manager of its new OC office in Irvine. Oltman will be responsible for managing daily operations as well as business development.


EDUCATION

The Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton, hired Van Muse as the director of the master’s of business administration program.


ENGINEERING

Brea-based JR Miller & Associates Inc. hired Paul Hacunda as lead senior civil engineer. Hacunda has experience in developing and managing a wide range of public and private sector projects.

Miyamoto International Inc. added Kim Caplan as a project engineer in its Santa Ana office.


HEALTHCARE

San Clemente-based LifeModeler Inc. added Ted Schwartz, Jonathan Nielsen and Suzanne Nielsen to the company. Schwartz joins the company as director of clinical applications. Jonathan Nielsen and Suzanne Nielsen are both technology specialists.


INSURANCE

Heritage General Agency hired Brian Kelly to its Irvine office. Prior to joining HGA, Kelly was in the property brokerage division of US Risk Brokers Inc.


LAW

Fisher & Phillips LLP added Emily Camastra, Marissa Lyftogt and Annie Markarian to its Irvine office. Camastra is a member of the Hispanic Bar Associa-tion. Prior to law school, Lyftogt served as a legal assistant at Puente Consulting Inc. Markarian serves as the chair of the Armenian General Benevolent Union Young Professionals.

Tony Tootell joined Bryan Cave LLP’s Irvine office as an associate. Tootell will practice with the firm’s commercial litigation group in both state and federal courts.


MEDIA

Bill Lupo was named vice president of sales at WebVisible Inc. in Irvine. Lupo will build, direct and manage WebVisible’s direct sales force and oversee customer support in the local merchant channel. Prior, he was a regional sales leader at Yodle Inc.


PUBLIC RELATIONS

Katie Ageson, Deborah Bell, Daniel Craig and Cynthia Ragland were elected to the board of the OC chapter of the Public Relations Society of America.


TECHNOLOGY

Kofax PLC in Irvine hired Thomas Senger as senior vice president of applications software sales for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Kofax also named Peter Murray senior vice president of applications software sales for the Asia Pacific region. Senger most recently was vice president of Europe, the Middle East and Africa channels and alliances at Hewlett Packard Co. Prior to joining Kofax, Murray was vice president of sales and operations for Asian Pacific and Japan at the Captiva division of EMC Corp.
