ARCHITECTURE

Edaw Inc., an architecture and environment consulting company, promoted nine people at its Irvine office: Mark Hickner, Tamio Kikuta, Dean Olson and Deanna Weber to senior associates from associates, and Natalie Adkins, Vishal Bhargava, James Dudley, Michelle St. Thomas and Sarah Wilkinson to associates.

CONSULTING

Aliso Viejo-based Cerius Consulting Group Inc. hired two people: Jeff Miller as vice president of operations and Wendy Cullen as vice president of sales and marketing. Miller previously was vice president of insurance service bureau operations at Fair Isaac Corp. Cullen has more than 20 years of sales leadership experience, including stints as vice president for AT & T; Broadband, Media One and Adelphia Communications.

CONSUMER PRODUCTS

The Huntington Beach office of Crown Crafts Inc., a maker of baby cribs, bedding and other products, hired Rosa Hearn as sales manager for the Latino market. Hearn has

10 years of experience in sales and management.

EDUCATION

The board of trustees for Rancho Santiago Community College District re-elected three members: John Hanna, Phillip Yarbrough and Lawrence Labrado. The board also chose Hanna as president, Yarbrough as vice president and David Chapel as clerk.

Norman Fujimoto was appointed vice president of academic affairs at Santa Ana College. Prior to joining, Fujimoto was instructional dean of the science, engineering, mathematics and computer and information sciences division at Cerritos College.

University of California, Irvine, added Adrian Preda at its Brain Imaging Center as assistant professor in the department of

psychiatry and human behavior. The university’s UC Irvine Extension elected Susie Ellis to its

spa and hospitality management advisory board. Ellis is president of Spa Finder

Inc.

ENGINEERING

Fuscoe Engineering Inc. promoted John Olivier to regional president for the Los Angeles and Orange counties. Olivier has been with the company since its start in 1992.

Gerry Seelman joined Psomas as group leader of transportation and public works. He will be based in the Costa Mesa and San Diego offices. Seelman has more than 25 years of experience.

ENVIRONMENT

Gary Colbert was appointed as executive vice president for Evergreen Holdings Inc. in Irvine, which collects, treats and disposes automotive wastes. Evergreen Holdings is the parent of Evergreen Oil Inc. and Chemical Engineering Partners. Colbert has more than 18 years of experience in the environmental services, hazardous materials and waste management business.

GOVERNMENT

Robert Franz was named deputy county executive officer and chief financial officer

for Orange County. Franz previously was director of administrative services for Glendale.

HEALTHCARE

Robert Micer was promoted to director of the X-ray/vascular business unit at Toshiba America Medical Systems Inc.’s headquarters in Tustin. Micer formerly was Toshiba’s senior manager of global research and marketing, and has more than 20 years of clinical and business experience.

INSURANCE

Ann Watt joined the Newport Beach office of Farmers Insurance as a property, casualty and life insurance agent.

LAW

Fisher & Phillips LLP added Bruce Larson as an associate to its Irvine office. Larson received his bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in Asian studies from Brigham Young University in 2002 and his law degree from George Washington University Law School in 2006.

Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP named Clayton Friedman as partner. He is based in the firm’s Costa Mesa office. Friedman specializes in multi-state regulatory, e-commerce and consumer protection work.

NONPROFIT

Rebecca Steinberger was named Hispanic outreach manager for the EncorePlus breast cancer early detection program at YWCA of North Orange County. Steinberger had been a Peace Corps volunteer in Honduras, teaching literacy, business administration and health.

REAL ESTATE

Irvine-based Option One Mortgage Corp. appointed Rod Colombi as executive vice president of corporate development. Colombi rejoins the company after previously serving as executive vice president of corporate finance at New Century Financial Corp.
