Amy Zimmerman and Associates Inc. named Teresa Gomez manager of its Los Alamitos office. She previously was a consultant in the Torrance office. Gomez handles temporary and permanent placement of administrative and accounting personnel.

Delta Global Advisors Inc. in Huntington Beach promoted Michael Pento to chief economist. A 17-year veteran whose career began on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Pento recently was vice president of investments for GunnAllen Financial Inc. Delta Global is an investment adviser that focuses on global stock markets.
HEALTHCARE
The Ladera Ranch office of Coastal Kids Pediatric Medical Group has hired physicians Kristine Brown, Amy Cox and Lisa Teschke-Nguyen. Brown specializes in infant and childhood preventative care, with a focus in asthma, allergy and cardiovascular diseases. Cox has special interest in neonatology, growth and development and early speech and language development. Teschke-Nguyen has a special interest in preventative care, asthma and allergies.
LAW
Knobbe Martens Olson & Bear LLP named Christian Fox, Curtis Huffmire, Philip Nelson and Christopher Ross partners in the firm’s Irvine office. Fox assists clients in patent matters including patent procurement, licensing and portfolio administration, focusing on computer software and hardware, data storage and interactive game play. Huffmire represents clients in intellectual property litigation, patent prosecution and counseling and intellectual property due diligence. His technical areas of emphasis include mechanical engineering and medical devices. Nelson represents clients in strategic procurement and enforcement and licensing of patents, emphasizing on physics and optics, aerodynamics and aerospace. Ross focuses on patent prosecution and litigation in various areas of technology, including medical and mechanical devices and sporting goods.

Judith Brower Fancher was named president of Orange County Press Club for a second term. Brower is president of Irvine-based Brower Miller & Cole, a marketing, public relations and advertising agency based in Irvine.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County added Paul Fruchbom and Gregory Smelser to its board. Fruchbom founded Newport Beach-based KDF Communities LLC, which helps provide affordable housing to low and moderate-income families and seniors. Smelser founded There4U Incentives Inc., a corporate meeting, events and incentives company in La Quinta.
Santa Ana-based Easer Seals Southern California, a group that supports people with disabilities, named Michael Neils chief philanthropy officer. Prior, Neils was senior advancement officer at the Graduate School of Education and Psychology at Pepperdine University, where he raised money for Pepperdine and its various outreach
projects.

Dale Luther joined Lee & Associates Commer-cial Real Estate Services Inc. in Newport Beach as an associate. He handles industrial buildings and industrial and office condos in Santa Ana, Tustin and Irvine.
Cynthia Valdes was named general manager of the Lake Forest Community Associa-tion. Valdes will oversee the operations of the 1,700-home community association and its recreational amenities.

Anaheim-based Axis Technical Group Inc. promoted Samantha Stirewalt to human resources manager. She has been with Axis Technical Group, an information technology services firm, since 2004.
Mission Viejo-based DealerCentric Solutions Inc. named Vince Scardina chief financial officer and Neil Kessler chief information officer. DealerCentric is a software company that helps auto dealers convert leads to credit applications, among other things.
