Newport Beach resident and financial specialist Sandra Champion has joined IFF Advisors LLC as a partner. IFF Advisors formerly was known as The Institute for Family Foundations. Champion will provide advisory services to clients. She will consult with individuals and families about financial modeling, strategies and investment policies.

LAW

Tim Paone, Susan K. Hori and Roger A. Grable have joined Manatt, Phelps & Phillips LLP’s real estate and land-use practice in the firm’s Orange County office. All three have experience in real estate entitlement and development, environment and government relations.

MEDICAL

Steve Geidt has been named chief executive of Saddleback Mem-orial Medical Center in Laguna Hills. He has more than 20 years experience at Saddle-back where he recently served as vice president. During his tenure at Saddleback, Geidt has led the medical center’s strategic planning efforts.

Dr. John S. Link and Larry Lambert have been re-elected to Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s board of directors. Link, first elected to the board in 2000, is medical director of the Orange Coast Memorial Breast Center. Lambert, a financial planner, was first elected in 1999 and currently serves as the board’s vice chairman. David L. Brown, president of Affiliations Unlimited Inc., an Irvine-based company, also has been elected to the medical center’s board. Diane Truong, vice president of the National Spasmodic Torticollis Association, has been appointed to the medical center’s board.

NONPROFIT

The OC Chapter of the American Red Cross appointed Alison Starkey as its corporate relations specialist. Starkey will administer the chapter’s corporate gift program. She also will be responsible for developing and managing the chapter’s database of corporate and individual donors.

Regional Center of Orange County, a nonprofit that coordinates services for people with developmental disorders, elected C. Terrence Fletke, Jud M. Robert and Steven L. Tanner to its board. Fletke is a certified public accountant and partner at Syme & Fletke. Robert is an associate with Mosier & Co. a turnaround management company in Costa Mesa. Tanner is executive vice president of development for Pick Up Stix, a Chinese fast-food restaurant chain based in San Clemente that’s part of Dallas-based Carlson Restaurants.

Orange County’s United Way has hired Rose Ratcliff as events manager in its marketing department. Ratcliff will be responsible for all special events, including sponsorships, event management and event marketing materials.

Dr. Richard Fiscel has joined the board of directors of the American Lung Association of Orange County. Fiscel currently is medical director of the Lung Center at Chapman Medical Center in Orange.

REAL ESTATE

Tom Giola has been appointed vice president and partner in the Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services Inc.’s Irvine Spectrum office. He specializes in leasing and sales of office and retail properties. He was named top retail associate by Lee & Associates for 2000 and 2001.

Irvine-based Keystone Property Management Inc. has added two employees to its staff. Cherice Miyamoto joins Keystone as a new project development associate. She will be involved in the management of new associations in OC. Leia Marie Ciscarra joins Keystone as an associate community association manager. Ciscarra will be involved in new association management in the Newport Beach area.
