Colin McCracken joined Orange-based Glaab & Associates as account manager. He will work with the firm’s political accounts. McCracken comes from the Republican Party of Orange County in Costa Mesa, where he worked as an executive assistant.
HEALTHCARE
Jeffrey L. Jacobs joined the Laguna Hills and San Clemente practices of Harvard Eye Associates. He received his medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City.
Orange-based Conexis named Michael Close chief sales and marketing officer. Close brings more than 18 years of experience in managed healthcare and employee benefits. Prior to joining Conexis, Close was sales and marketing officer for San Diego-based American Specialty Health.
Cypress-based PacifiCare Health Systems Inc. appointed Aida Alvarez and Linda Rosenstock to its board, which now consists of 12 members. Alvarez was administrator of the U.S. Small Business Administration from 1997 to 2001. Rosenstock has been serving as dean of the University of California, Los Angeles’ School of Public Health since 2000. Prior to that, Rosenstock served as director of the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health from 1994 to 2000.

The Irvine law firm of Hodel Briggs Allison & Winter LLP added Jennifer Henderson as associate attorney. Henderson will practice commercial litigation and employment law. She formerly was with the Newport Beach office of O’Melveny & Myers LLP.
MARKETING
Santa Ana-based Space Division named Adam Lobel as a smoke artist. Lobel previously worked as a freelance editor. Some of his clients have included Lincoln Mercury, Olympus, Johnson & Johnson and Home Depot.
NONPROFIT
Fountain Valley-based Good Shepherd Communities, which serves people with developmental disabilities, appointed Bob Warren as vice president. He will direct fundraising for California, Colorado, Oregon and Washington.
Phil Hirsch, chief executive of Denver-based KFx and former chief executive of Diedrich Coffee, and Holland Carney of Carney Public Relations were elected to Court Appointed Special Advocate’s board. The group provides volunteer mentor advocates to serve as role models and a voice in court for more than 400 abused, neglected and abandoned children in Orange County.
The Score Foundation named Patty DeDominic vice president. The foundation provides free and confidential business advice and training to entrepreneurs. DeDominic is the owner of Irvine-based PDQ Personnel, which she founded in 1979.
Hoag Memorial Hospital Presbyterian appointed Terry Callahan board president of the Hoag Hospital Foundation 552 Club. Callahan has been a member since 1983. The 552 Club has more than 3,000 members and has raised more than $20.5 million for Hoag Hospital since its founding in 1966.

Alex Vellandi joined Santa Ana-based Triple Net Properties LLC as associate general counsel. Prior to joining Triple Net, Vellandi was in private practice with Allen, Matkins, Leck, Gamble & Mallory LLP and Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP.

Buena Park Downtown, formerly Buena Park Mall, added David DeLille as director of marketing. He has more than 26 years experience in retail marketing and previously worked as marketing manager for the Galleria at Tyler.
SPORTS
The Mighty Ducks of Anaheim made the following additions to their staff: Ron Campbell was promoted from account executive to manager, premium sales and services. Campbell has been with the Mighty Ducks since 1997. Bob Ruiz will now represent the Mighty Ducks as the premium sales and service manager. Ruiz has worked for the hockey club since 1998 and previously was an account executive. Roxanne Gan-dara was promoted to premium sales and service assistant. Gan-dara previously held the position of sales secretary. She has been with the Mighty Ducks since 2002. Christina Cruz was promoted to sales secretary. She joined the company this year. Gordon Taylor joined the Mighty Ducks as premium sales and service manager. Taylor previously worked for the Renaissance Hollywood Hotel.
