NetGuru, Inc., a Yorba Linda technology and services company focused on the global Indian community, has unveiled long-distance telephone services using its own dedicated switch system.
The company can now use its own switch to send long distance calls to India for 42 cents per minute, according to the company. Its switch system can accommodate 2 million minutes of traffic per month. NetGuru has applied for additional switch capabilities, which will allow it to process another 10 million minutes per month.
The company sells phone cards to its portal customers to call friends and relatives in India, with an annual sales rate of $1.4 million as of last month.
NetGuru provides Internet provider services to Indian residents and businesses, Internet content and commerce for Indian residents and expatriates, as well as business-to-business Web design, hosting system integration and consulting services to businesses in India. The company also provides high-tech services, as well as engineering and animation software products to businesses worldwide.
