Irvine’s Marwynn Expands into AI

Debuts NexaCore Technologies to support AI data centers and specialized electronic chips or GPUs

Irvine-based Marwynn Holdings Inc. is expanding beyond supply chain operations with a new AI infrastructure unit, NexaCore Technologies Inc.

The firm, which raised $8 million in its IPO last year, owns and manages two brands: a provider of indoor home products and a distributor of specialty grocery products in the supply chain business. One of its biggest customers is Costco.

NexaCore will target high-density AI data centers and specialized chips or GPUs designed to process AI and gaming data.

CEO Yin Yan said in an April 23 statement that the move diversifies Marwynn into high-growth digital infrastructure as enterprise demand for AI computing accelerates.

“The launch of NexaCore is a measured step toward diversifying our technology service offerings,” Yan said. “While we recognize the competitive nature of the AI infrastructure market, we believe NexaCore’s focus on high-efficiency cooling and specialized support services addresses a clear and growing need in the enterprise sector.”

The company’s stock is down 5% to 58 cents a share with a market cap of $12 million. (Nasdaq: MWYN)
