The 500 GOP loyalists attending the Lincoln Club’s annual dinner at the Balboa Bay Club gave Gov. Arnold a standing O, but their most rousing ovation was for lieutenant governor candidate Tom McClintock. Panther talk: Co-editing a recently recovered ancient text has put the spotlight on Chapman U religion Prof Marvin Meyer. “The Gospel of Judas” was recently at No. 6 on the New York Times bestseller list, Meyer was featured on the National Geographic TV special and he’s quoted in news stories worldwide.
