Firm Targets Corporate Governance Work

Firm Targets Corporate Governance Work

Orange County attorneys Robert Iger, Philip Koehler and Yuri Vanetik have opened a corporate governance law firm in Costa Mesa.

The firm, Iger, Koehler & Vanetik LLP, plans to represent independent directors and board committees they serve on.

“Stringent new corporate governance reforms and other regulatory requirements can be overwhelming to the independent director,” Iger said.

Firm officials said the recent spate of corporate scandals is driving demand by independent directors for legal counsel.

The law firm will offer services to boards of directors in evolution and crises, as well as expertise relating to audit, compensation, governance and nominating committees.
