Exhibit Builder Changes Name

Costa Mesa-based X-zibitz Productions, which designs and builds trade show displays and booths, has changed its name to Blackline Environments.

Blackline, which employs about 35 at its 18,000-square-foot headquarters on Placentia Avenue, was an active player at the recent Action Sports Retailer show in Long Beach, where it designed booths and displays for OC companies like Hurley International, Surfer magazine and Birdhouse. The company has also done work for Quiksilver, MetRX and Dreamworks Studios.

Blackline was founded in 1991 by Steve Titus and Chris Cole in a garage in Huntington Beach. Last year, the company posted about $3 million in revenue.
